Driver Door Window Switch Not Working

Driver door window switch not working.

2 using an ohmmeter test driver door switch for. No arm rest no door pocket dangling window switch. Power window motors only have two wires. All other windows work fine.

Remove the old unit and installing the new was a breeze. I put 12v directly to the motor and it functions just fine. Driver s side master or passenger side. 06 buick lucerne cxl front driver side window will not raise or lower.

Not having a door trim for a month or so now was getting annoying. All other switches work on power switch but drivers window does not work. I used a cordless driver with a 10mm socket to speed thing up. So i put the motor in and the window still doesn.

Is this your first time dealing with this issue. I know that the new one works because i tested it on the passenger side which does work. The first thing you need to do is to check for. So much easier to work with than the old scissor mechanisms.

The switch for the passenger window does work though as well as the power locks and power mirror adjusters so i know the door has power. All the wiring for driver s and passenger s windows runs through the master switch. When passenger windows don t work but the driver s window does chances are high that you ve got a bad master switch in the driver s door or a broken wire in the driver s door hinge area. The driver side window was stuck down and all door locks would not work all the other windows went up and down as they should but still no drivers window or door locks.

I checked all fuses even 68 relay but still could not find problem i drove 18 miles in 30 degree weather at nite got home and was very confused with this truck. So last night i tackled the job.
