I used some of this and some of the pack in and the results were indistinguishable even though they came in different packages. It may not be necessary but i removed the dryer door 4 screws and replaced the seal with it lying on a table.

However it costs too much and the kenmore oem replacement gaskets i got actually came with their own high temperature adhesive.
